Hello, All you beautiful Sun- Kissed Souls!
Sorry, I have been so busy and I am about to explain it all below to get you all in the loop. Trying to navigate real life, travel life and blogging has been a struggle BUT NO MORE EXCUSES!
So let’s get this update going….
Where have I been? Good question and I am about to get to all that’s happened in the last month and a half.
So much has happened and so much to share with you all. First and foremost God has just been so amazing and I have to give him all the thanks for all that’s happened this year.
So if you don’t follow me on my socials you may not know that I am back home, back in Sunny (windy) Cape Town and over the moon to be out of the cold winter in South Korea.
I booked my ticket home in March and planned to surprise my family for my sisters 21st Birthday. How I managed to keep the secret so long was beyond me but I did it. The looks on their faces when they saw me made it all worth it. Hoping to get my sister to edit a little surprise video to share with you all.
Let’s backtrack before the big surprise.
I finished up my job on the 31st of October it was so sad to say goodbye to so many of my students some I have taught for the full duration of my 2 and half years of teaching at April.
I also moved out of my apartment that was my first solo home. Packing up was such a chore but on my final day I sat packing drinking some wine and I remembered all the good times and I did have a good cry. I had no idea how sad packing up and saying goodbye to my Daegu life, my gym fam, Church fam, and my everyday fam would affect me. After all the goodbyes and tears I finally started to feel excited for the great surprise home my Bali vacation in January and my mission trip to Laos.
It does not stop there in other exciting news God provided me such a great job opportunity in Busan at a beautiful school on the foot of a mountain and I am closer to the beach. Better yet I get to move with one of my best friends so I am starting new but not alone. Just before flying home, we went to Busan to sign our contract and made a little weekend trip of it to check out my favorite city in Korea. I am so thankful and can only thank God for all his provision in my life. Our church also had a retreat Themed Better together up in the mountains of Polgongsan near Daegu. It was such a special trip connecting with one another praying for each other and the perfect send-off for Kelby and myself.
I have so many things to be grateful for and most importantly this festive season I just want to love all my loved ones spend time with them because I don’t when will be here again.
Stay tuned to my socials on Facebook and Instagram where I post daily so you can get some travel inspiration and follow me on my adventures as I rediscover all the things that I love about my hometown of Cape Town. I am not going to lie being back has been a huge adjustment but I am going to make the most of my time here and trusting God every step of the way.
So that is my update on where I am and my future plans expect some exciting content coming your way as I navigate life through my travels and still keeping up with my fitness and wellness goals.
let me know if you have any cool exciting plans coming up this festive season?
Peace, Love, and Happiness
